Let me introduce myself..
Hello, my name is Marie Simone
I am a mother of three and the owner of The Beautiful Bear Venue

A little about me
Welcome, i am so happy you have found my page!
In 2021 i opened the beautiful bear venue, a nature school and parent village with the vision of offering a space that would nurture you and your family from Bump right up to fully fledged parents.
I have worked alongside families in different roles for the last 20 years, but for the last five years i have worked closely with many families offering support and guidance as they navigate different stages of their parenting journey, I have also trained with the incredible provider 'Wombs of the world' to become a Doula with wisdom from elders and birth workers from across the world.
I am a trained peer supporter and soon to be consultant in baby wearing and run a small sling library which was inspired from carrying my own children until they where four years.
My feeding journey has been a mix of bottle & pump for one and breastfed until they where four years old for the others, so although i am not currently a feeding consultant i have eight years of consecutive personal feeding experience so always happy to talk milk and direct you to some fabulous ladies who can help if needed!
When I was in the early stages of motherhood i was shocked at how little support and preparation there actually was for this huge life changing event.
I quickly realised that a baby shower and a basic antenatal class really didn't honour my true needs or ensure i 'thrived', instead i simply 'survived' the transition to parenthood.
Seasonal ceremonies have always been important to me, learning how to integrate the beauty of ceremonies for pregnancy, birth, postnatal and parental growth has been such an honour.
After experiencing the closing of the bones ceremony with my second, being nourished with home cooked meals and encouraged to be in nature by my family i knew instantly i wanted to offer this to as many mothers as possible.
Its an honour every time i'm asked to hold a ceremony or be a part of a parents journey, i love my work with all my heart.
